1. Introduction
KB Innovation ("KB Innovation," "we," "us," or "our") is a free, AI-guided generosity and ministry-strategy platform, operated by KB Innovation, LLC, an affiliate of Kingdom Builders. We help churches and ministry organizations discern, design, and deliver generosity and capital campaigns.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, the KB Innovation platform, our premium add-on features, and any related services (collectively, the "Services") where this policy is posted.
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
We currently provide the Services to users located in the United States.
2. Who This Policy Covers
The Services are designed for use by churches and ministry organizations and the individuals who use them on an organization's behalf (pastors, staff, campaign leaders, and authorized volunteers). In this policy:

"You" refers to an individual using the Services.
•
"Your organization" refers to the church or ministry on whose behalf you use the Services.
Where your organization connects a third-party giving platform or church management system (ChMS), or otherwise inputs information about its members, givers, or households, your organization is responsible for that information and for having the right to provide it to us. In those cases, we process that information on your organization's behalf and under its direction.
3. Information We Collect

Account and contact information. Name, email address, phone number, role/title, organization name, and login credentials.
•
Organization and ministry profile. Information about your church or ministry, such as size, location, leadership structure, and ministry context.
•
Assessment and readiness inputs. The responses, descriptions, financial-readiness information, vision and leadership inputs, and other content you provide when you complete a Church Readiness Assessment or use our planning and strategy tools.
•
Content you create or generate. Vision language, case-for-support drafts, sermon and communication content, budgets, roadmaps, dashboards, and other materials you create or that the platform's AI generates from your inputs.
•
Payment information (premium features). If you purchase premium add-ons, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers; we receive limited transaction and billing details (such as the last four digits, billing contact, and subscription status).
•
Connected-service data (premium integrations). If your organization authorizes an integration with a giving platform or ChMS, we receive the data fields you choose to connect, which may include giving, pledge, participation, and household information.
•
Usage and device information. Log data, IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, features used, and similar analytics data.
•
Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 9.
•
Communications. Records of your support requests, survey responses, and correspondence with us, including any information shared during phone or in-person advisory sessions.
4. Sensitive Information
Some information you provide — for example, religious affiliation inherent to using a faith-based platform, or detailed financial-readiness data — may be considered sensitive under certain laws. We use this information only to provide and improve the Services as described in this policy, and we do not use or disclose it for purposes other than those a reasonable user would expect, except with your consent or as required by law.
5. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including delivering your readiness profile, strategy guide, plans, and dashboards;

Generate AI-assisted content and recommendations based on your inputs (see Section 6);
•
Process premium subscriptions and payments;
•
Provide customer support and advisory services;
•
Communicate with you about your account, updates, and (where permitted) relevant ministry resources;
•
Maintain the security and integrity of the Services and prevent fraud or abuse;
•
Improve and develop the Services, including model and feature improvement using de-identified or aggregated data (see Section 7);
•
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
6. AI Processing and Automated Content
A core feature of KB Innovation is the use of artificial intelligence through the AI Navigator — shaping your inputs into vision language, strategy recommendations, and ministry content.

Your inputs may be processed by trusted third-party AI service providers in order to generate this output. We contract with these providers to handle your information only as needed to provide the Services.
•
AI-generated content is produced automatically and may contain errors or omissions. It is intended as a starting point, and you remain responsible for reviewing all output for theological, financial, legal, and factual accuracy before relying on or distributing it.
•
Where our recommendations are generated through automated means, you can contact us to ask questions about, or request human review of, a recommendation that significantly affects your organization.
7. De-Identified and Aggregated Data
We may create de-identified and aggregated data from information processed through the Services — for example, anonymized benchmarks across the Five Health Metrics, generosity and campaign trends, and similar insights. We use this data to operate, improve, and research the Services and to publish aggregate findings (such as a State of Church Generosity report).
De-identified and aggregated data does not identify you, your organization, or any individual, and we do not attempt to re-identify it. We may retain and use this data even after your account is closed.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share information only as follows:
•
Service providers / subprocessors. Vendors that help us operate the Services — including hosting, AI processing, analytics, payment processing, email/communications, and customer support — under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us.
•
Integrations you authorize. When your organization connects a third-party giving platform or ChMS, information flows between that service and KB Innovation as you direct. Those third parties handle data under their own privacy policies.
•
Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of KB Innovation, our users, or others.
•
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, ministry restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
•
With your direction or consent. When you ask us to share information or otherwise consent.
•
De-identified or aggregated form. As described in Section 7.
9. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, measure usage, and improve the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control).
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the period reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. De-identified and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your Choices and Rights
You can:

Access and update your account information by logging in or contacting us;
•
Delete your account by contacting us at privacy@greaux.org;
•
Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us (we may still send service-related messages);
•
Manage integrations by disconnecting them in your settings.
California residents. Depending on our data practices and applicable thresholds, California law may give you the right to know what personal information we collect, to access or delete it, to correct inaccurate information, to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" (we do not sell or share for cross-context advertising), and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us at privacy@greaux.org. We will verify your request before responding, and you may use an authorized agent.
To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@greaux.org. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
13. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for organizational and professional use by adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
14. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
